The Google Photo app has received the 6.23.1 update from Google.
Earlier Monday, Apple released iOS 16, its most recent version, for eligible devices (February 14). App problems appear to be being caused by the recent iOS 16.3.1 upgrade for some iPhone and iPad users.
With changes to Find My and Crash Detection for the new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models, the update is intended to improve user experience. However, several users have complained online that the Google Photos app immediately crashes on launch after updating their smartphones to iOS 16.3.1.
