Chinese consumers who enjoy using front-facing cameras to capture images and movies are the target market for the Xiaomi Civi phones.
According to the most recent rumour, the new Civi 3 will include a quick Dimensity 8200 CPU and a 50MP camera, making it a desirable all-around midranger. We are rather convinced that Xiaomi will stick to the good old 6.55" AMOLED that has been used in numerous Civi, Redmi, and Mi handsets over the previous two years.

This information is based on trustworthy tipster Digital Talk Station. The 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor found in the current Civi 2 will be replaced by the Sony IMX800 sensor found in the premium Xiaomi 13 and Redmi K60 Pro smartphones.

Two 32MP selfie cameras will be present once more; given their current level of capability, they are likely to stay the same as in the past. Although we are unlikely to see the phone outside of China, at least not under this name, Xiaomi is most likely to release the Civi 3 in April.
