This extension only covers a total of five devices, so try not to get too enthusiastic about it.
The Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Mi 11 Ultra, and Poco X3 Pro are all included in the announcement, which was made by Xiaomi India on Discord of all places.

Xiaomi should take care of it under warranty if you purchased any of these devices in India in the previous two years and are currently dealing with a selfie camera problem or a motherboard failure.
We assume Xiaomi has detected some possible problems with these phones and parts in particular and is making an effort to find a solution because the extension is modest and highly specific.
As of the time of writing this post, the new terms don't show on warranty information pages, but we hope Xiaomi India won't restrict this potentially significant announcement to Discord alone.
